Terms of Use
By downloading or using Carga you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Information, not advice
Carga shows information for informational purposes: gas prices, locations of gas stations and chargers, connectors, power levels and hours. Always verify the data at the station before making decisions, especially if you depend on a charger to reach your destination.
2. Gas prices
Gas prices in Mexico are published by the service stations themselves through the Comisión Nacional de Energía (CNE) and may differ from the price at the pump. They may be out of date, incomplete or incorrect. Carga does not set or guarantee any price. If you notice a price difference or an irregularity at a station, you can report it to Profeco.
3. Third-party data
Charger and station information comes from third parties, and its accuracy and availability depend on them:
- Open Charge Map, © Open Charge Map contributors, CC BY 4.0 license.
- © OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL license.
- Apple Maps (MapKit).
- Mexico's Comisión Nacional de Energía (CNE), for gas prices.
Names and trademarks of gas stations, charging networks and manufacturers belong to their owners. Carga is not affiliated with them, with Apple, with the CNE or with any government agency.
4. Ads
The app may show third-party ads (Google AdMob) in certain regions, as explained in the Privacy Policy. We do not endorse advertisers or their products.
5. License and Apple's EULA
Carga is licensed, not sold. The license to use the app is the one granted by Apple in the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which applies to your download from the App Store. These terms supplement it and, if there is a conflict, Apple's EULA prevails as far as the license is concerned.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the app for unlawful purposes, and do not try to bulk-extract its data, tamper with it or bypass its limits. Do not use it while driving in a way that endangers you or others; always follow traffic laws.
7. No warranty
The app and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, timeliness, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the app will run without interruptions or errors.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for losses resulting from relying on the prices or data shown (for example, paying more at a station, running out of charge or finding a station closed). Nothing in these terms limits rights that Mexican law grants you as a consumer and that cannot be waived.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. We will publish the new version on this page with its date. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts of Mexico, unless the law gives you another venue as a consumer.
